Jose Mourinho held a session withouot the team's internationals

Granero, Marcelo, Dudek, Pedro Leon, Adan and Pepe were the only first team players available to Jose Mourinho this morning given the exodus of internationals. Marcelo has yet to leave to join Brazil. They were joined by Castilla's David Mateos and the Under-19 side's Derik. After days of solitary recovery training, Pepe rejoined the squad.

Ball work took centre stage again. The players played piggy-in-the-middle, taking turns in acting as passers or stealers in groups of 2 against 4 and 3 on 3. Meanwhile, the goalkeepers trained with Silvino Louro.

The players practiced on running down the wings with the ball and shooting on goals defended by either Dudek or Adan. The session ended with a 3 on 3 practice game.
